Center of Excellence for Water and Sanitation - Thelawala

The project is a four storied Training center Building located in close proximity to Ratmalana NWSDB Headquarters, but adjoining calm & quiet marshy water body at Thelawala. The special features of the design were the use of deep corridors that shades sun as an effective method to cut down the direct sunlight and provide outdoor space for discussion, open spaces toward adjoining marsh and fully equipped training facility with most of the general purpose areas with natural light and ventilation.
