Fire Station - Kalutara

The project is of facilitating a Fire Station to undertake the fire risks within the city and the surrounding suburbs. Therefore the design includes of proposing a loop road to create links with the Town hall building, public ground, urban council and market in order to harmonize with the new Fire station, which is located at a prime location in the city center (adjoining the Urban Council), thus maximizing the quick accessibility of fire vehicles at a risk. This is a simple design fully worked out for area constraints, which contains a colonnaded see-through structure in Ground level to serve as parking space and the ‘Floating Tank’ on columns to function as the information center and related fire fighting facilities.
